What is our commitment to responsible gaming?

Our core commitment

  • Proactively identifying risky behaviour and offering support
  • Preventing minors from accessing our platform entirely
  • Making self-exclusion and break options easily accessible
  • Providing information on professional support organisations

What warning signs should I watch out for?

Signs of financial strain

Chasing losses with bigger and bigger bets, spending money set aside for daily expenses on gaming, or developing a habit of borrowing money to play.

Loss of control over time

Spending far more time gaming than planned, repeatedly failing to cut back, or playing through the night at the expense of sleep.

Social withdrawal

Withdrawing from family and friends, hiding your gaming activity or lying about it, or struggling to focus on work or studies.

Emotional Distress

Feeling restless or irritable when unable to game, falling into anger or despair after a loss, or using gaming as an escape from stress.

Tendency to break commitments

Repeatedly promising yourself "this is the last time" but coming back again and again, or continuing to play beyond your set limits.

Physical effects

Irregular eating, sleep problems, fatigue, or headaches — these can be physical signs of excessive gaming and should not be ignored.

If you notice any of the signs above, pause and follow the guidance below.

How do you set time and budget limits?

Tips for setting a budget

  • Set aside a fixed amount for gaming each week or month — and stick to only that amount.
  • Never use money set aside for rent, food, your children's education, or medical expenses on gaming.
  • Never chase losses by placing bigger bets to try to win back what you've lost — this is dangerous behaviour.
  • Set a deposit limit on your bookmaker account to ensure you never deposit more than your intended budget.
  • Don't think of winnings as a source of income — gaming is entertainment, not an investment.

Time Management Tips

  • Decide in advance how much time you'll spend gaming each day or week, and stick to that limit.
  • Use a timer or alarm on your phone — when the time is up, stop playing.
  • Avoid gaming late at night or during work hours — it affects both your focus and your sleep.
  • Keep gaming-free days — spend at least one or two days a week with family or on hobbies you enjoy.
  • Use bookmaker's session time limit feature — you'll receive an automatic alert when your set time is up.

What account control features are available to you?

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit. Once set, the limit takes effect immediately, and any increase requires a 24-hour waiting period.

Temporary Break

If you'd like to take a break from gaming for a while, you can temporarily suspend your account for anywhere between 24 hours and 30 days. You will not be able to log in during this period.

Cooling-Off Period

If you need a longer break, choose a cooling-off period of 30 days to 6 months. During this time, your account will be completely inactive and no bonus offers will be sent.

Self-exclusion

If you feel gaming is becoming harmful, you can apply for a permanent or long-term self-exclusion. Once activated, your account cannot be reactivated.

How do I use these features? Log in to your bookmaker account, go to Account Settings, and look for the "Responsible Gaming" section. For any issues, contact our Help Centerto get in touch.

Why is maintaining balance in life important?

Family & Social Life

Gaming can never replace quality time with family and friends. Spending meaningful time with loved ones is essential for mental well-being. bookmaker wants you to enjoy gaming, but always put your relationships and family responsibilities first.

Make it a habit to spend at least two or three evenings a week with your family, and keep gaming outside of that time.

Work & study

Your career and education are the foundation of your life. If gaming is affecting your ability to focus on work or studies, that is an important warning sign.

Avoid gaming entirely during work hours or study time. Make healthy use of your leisure time.

Where can I go if I need help?

Problem gambling is a mental health issue, and there is no shame in it. Seeking help takes courage. bookmaker encourages anyone who is struggling to control their gaming — or knows someone who is — to reach out for professional support without delay.

  • Talk to someone you trust — Talk openly with a family member, friend, or religious leader.
  • Contact a mental health counsellor — Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other treatment options are available in Bangladesh.
  • Kaan Pete Roi (Bangladesh) — Mental health helpline: 01779-554391, where trained volunteers are ready to listen.
  • National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) — Based in Dhaka, providing specialist mental health care services.
